First off, I got this in a brand new Growler and I think it had an effect on the overall taste. Not sure if the bottle was rinsed before filling.
On the pour: deep brown/rust color, 1&1/2 fingers of head.
Aroma: Dirty, stinky malt. Honey. Slight woodiness. Medicinal, plasticky, soapy weirdness.
Taste: Alcohol, toasted malt, cherry
Mouthfeel: Tart and zippy, a little thick.
Finish: Slightly dry and roasty.
I will try this again at the brewery to make sure it was or wasn't the Growler's fault.
