delicious fall beer here, especially if you like the pie spice thing, which i do, its pretty bold in this. not sure if it contains any real pumpkin, it seems like it might, but the spices run over that nuance for better or worse, but i reckon this would be agreeable for fans of the style no matter what, its got warming cinnamon and clove and a sweet vanilla thing, very autumnal and makes a fine pine. deep orange colored liquid, short off white head on it from the tap at the brewery, really fun place by the way if you have never been. aroma on this is great, cinnamon and clove spiciness, some brown sugar and malt sweetness together, some earthy character in the middle and then a hint of fluff and vanilla, honey, and maybe nutmeg at the end, not subtle, and thats how the flavor is too, nice movement start to finish, pumpkin vibes whether there is pumpkin in here or not, it has a sort of canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie middle, some nice grain depth appreciable too though, keeping it beery. not too much body despite the sweetness and fine carbonation. very well flavored brew for the fall season. i didnt drink enough pumpkin beer this year, the style seems to have fallen out of favor in recent years, way less prevalent than it used to be, glad to have had this one, very solid, lots of spice, cozy and festive and fun.
