look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4

Appearance: black in color with a nice two finger head that lasts. Some moderate lace develops.

Smell: chocolate, malt sweetness, and a grapefruit citrus tone create a pleasant aroma.

Taste: roasted malts, dark chocolate, grapefruit, a hint of pine, and a hearty bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smoother and a bit dry at the finish. Aftertaste is long lasting.

Overall: a very enjoyable and easy to drink Black IPA. Worth trying this one if you find it on draft.
