Appearance: orange in color with a 2" head that hung around awhile. Some moderate lace paints the glass.
Smell: caramel and hop bitterness is easy to detect.
Taste:: caramel, orange and grapefruit citrus, some pear flavor, and a moderate bitterness create a well balanced beer.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp throughout with a hint of dryness late. Very refreshing.
Overall: this beer was brewed with 7 malts and 7 hops and it comes across as a simple but very flavorful IPA. I had several of these on a few stops at the Draft House - great beer.
