Impressive orange color. Aroma was hoppy, fruit stripe gum kind of impression.
Taste was a weird mix of the cigarette smoke, hops, sweet chrystal malt. Didn't get enough flavor from the hops, too much bitterness derived thereof.
Beer has potential, starts off pretty good.

A heavy orange liquid amidst the heavy cigarette smoke of the brewhouse. Actually looks pretty impressive, you know the cool orange color that for whatever reason makes me think Nelson Sauvin hops (they aren't in here as far as I can tell). A tropical fruity hoppy aroma eeeks out of the pint glass. Impressive head, impressive aroma.
Taste, well it wasn't the hop vibrancy I was hoping for. My hopes were up, but this just was average in the taste department, lacked juicyness, greenness, vegetal flavor of the hops, a lot of caramel for sure. Hid the alcohol pretty well in the mouthfeel, just didn't have a taste that was anything beyond average. I'd have it again, but wouldn't go out of my way. Good price.

Appearance: dark orange in color with a big fluffy head that slowly falls to thick and spotty surface foam.
Smell: pine and grapefruit rise from the glass and into the nose,
Taste: big malty profile with caramel, pine, grapefruit, golden apples, and some mild alcohol. The bitterness is strong but in check.
Mouthfeel: medium- heavy in body. Light crispness at the start, smoother and very dry at the finish. Long lasting aftertaste as the bitterness lingers in the mouth,
Overall: a slow sipping big beer that is mildly refreshing and pretty easy to drink.
