Gonna give this one a good score for looks even though it looks nothing like Alts I have had or made. Beautiful clear gold, with a huge hat of white, fine bubbled foam atop.
Flowery perfume, lightly tart yeast, biscuity breadiness, and a hint of citrus for an aroma unlike any Alt I have tasted or read about, but it is a nice, medium strength bouquet.
Tasty beer with more in common with helles lager than Alt, but enjoyable none the less. All the flavors of the nose, with the floral notes less pronounced, the tart and bread more pronounced, and a finish that features a bit of spice to go with the citrus
Very light in mouth, so out of style it is comical. Highly carbed, nice linger, okay finish.
Not really getting the Alt designation on the label, this is more helles than Alt, even if it did use top fermenting yeast. Not recommended.

Poured from a bottle into a glass. Cloudy gold color with very light head. A sweet fruity smooth smell and taste

Poured into a Sester stange. Pours a medium orange amber with a fizzy, one finger white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of bready and biscuit malt, over-ripe light stone fruit, hints of citrus and apple. Flavor is bready and lightly grainy malt, apple, green grape, mild honey, tart citrus; tart fruit finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. This one is tough to review; this is apparently the Münster style of altbier, which I've never tried (nor even heard of). It looks different even in the pour, which is a lighter golden color rather then true amber. The flavor is interesting, starting with somewhat sweet fruity malt, but finishing with a fruit tartness that is lighter than, but reminiscent of a gose. The alt style is growing on me and I've been trying any I run across, which is rare. The style has a lot of variation in malt and flavor; this is most different. I like the initial fruit malt flavor, but the tartness, while relatively mild, unsettles me a bit each taste. After reading up on the Münster style, I think this beer gets lower review points because of the unexpected tartness, but it is an intentional style feature. While not exactly to me taste, it seems like a well made ale that fits the flavor profile it promises. And to its credit, I enjoyed it more than most tart ales.Worth a try for an uncommon local style.

Hazy light orange, meringue like white head.
Smells like a feed-store, dried apricots, and baking bread.
Tastes exceedingly rich, malty, dried apricot, brown sugar, on the sweet side, but, the sweetness is not cloying. It has the perfect amount of hops to counteract the sweetness.
I don’t think I’d want more than one 500ml bottle, it’s very intense, a huge flavor bomb.
I highly recommend.

Hazy, yellow color. Malty aroma with notes of hay and a hint of fruits. Crispy, malty taste with moderate bitterness and some fruitiness. A rare example of the style.

Tasty. Refreshing. Light but with a good enough malt backbone to be enjoyed during colder weather. Not sure if it fits style. More of a robust Kolsch. CHEERS!

Copenhagen 27/7 2023. 50 cl bottle from Edeka Center Bremen Hastedt, Pfalzburger Strasse, Bremen. Red label with drawing of a cityscape with churches and old towers.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles thin layer of foam stretching to covert surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intensewith sweet malty odor with a bit of sugar on top. Sweet pale malts, bread, cardboard, white sugar and a ghost-like whiff of citrus and grass.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for bit. Finish is sweet malts and sugar.
Most of all too sweet pale Lager Beer.

Look: It pours golden with a bit of haze. It has a white head with average head retention.
Smell: It is fairly malty with a distinct grain aroma. There is no hop aroma to speak of.
Taste: It has a grainy sweet flavor with a bit of honey.
Feel: It has a medium body with a bit of syrup likeness in the mouthfeel.
Overall, it is really not like any alt that I've had. It is like a one note malt beer.
