A: Pours reddish copper with a tall compact and thick off-white head that slowly dissipates, leaving nice lacings.
S: Lots of dark dried fruits in this sweet malty beer. A sour bitterness, feels off.
T: Follows the smell, but the sour bitterness feels even more off - kind of cherry-like.
M: Sour aftertaste that stays too long. Body is medium for this style while carbonation is mild.
O: This looked so right, but the sour bitterness spoiled it.

50cl bottled poured into Spaten seidel
BBE Sept 2012
A- Burnt orange/copper body. Has some clouding. 3 finger solid white head reduces quickly producing little lacing.
S- Toasted and caramel malts. There is a fruity sour underlying note, perhaps slightly green apple-like
T- Toasted malts upfront, with an acidic sour fruity note coming through before a hint of hop bitterness in the slightly oily finish. Alcohol well hidden.
M- Medium body/carbonation. Slightly oily finish as mentioned.
D- Looked promising after pour. Didnt like this sour note in aroma/palate. Finish was messy. Not one id seek out.
