Pours opaque dark brown with small beige head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to completely cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, spicy and intense. Molasses, brown sugar, cocoa, coffee, tobacco, dark bitter chocolate.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and fairly short.
Pretty light but not without a bitter bite.
