Served from the bottle in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a hazy auburn-garnet topped by a finger or so of light khaki foam. The nose comprises macerated pear, booze, tart stone fruits, rich caramel, Bulleit rye, and a mild general funk in the background. The taste brings in more of the same, the whiskey a bit darker and roastier, some charred barrel jumping in, and some sharp apricot squatting in the finish. The body is a hefty-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dryong finish. The flavors here are strong and kinda clashy, but if they're your bag, this stuff ain't too bad.
