On-tap. 1/2 pt glass. Enjoyed @ L´Espumossa (Barcelona). Pours pitch black headed by tan froth showing fairly good retention. As diminished a lasting thin layer remains on top & some spots are left on sides. Aroma profile displays herbal aroma & anice touch, caramel malt hues, toasted bread, subtle roasted & burnt chocolate on the back. Hints of sweet roasted malts & fudge chocolate at first sip. Light to medium body. Soft to moderate carbonation. Oily texture. Herbal bitterness - with light citric touches- arises in the middle then flows like a river inside a black cocoa mountain rounded by sharp spicy note. Long bitter/sweet finish. Hops & malts are well balanced. Flavorful & easy drinkable ...so watch up your step !!!
