Pours a dark amber, almost red color, with a huge, froth head.
Has incredibly fruity aromas of orange, papaya and banana, above slightly sour yeast. This gets accompanied by bitter lemon peel, together with a peppery note, as well as rock sugar.
Drinks very smooth, with a prickly refreshing ending, among a medium bodied beer.
Tastes of banana, honey and slightly boozy, slick lime. This blends well into bready malts and soft yeast, distracted by a slightly to lively carbonation, in which the subtle flavors get lost. Banana stays on the palate till the very end, now accompanied by dry, citraic, very grassy hops, while a biscuity sweetness balances the taste, ending particularly bready, with a slight alcoholic bite. is no longer recognizable, as the beer warms up, revealing a grassy, rich dryness together with smooth, slightly sweet yeast.
Very complex, but confusing beer, in which not all the flavors come together too well. The beer varies from fruity to sweet to dry to bready, ending with an alcoholic finish, without revealing its focus. Much better at room temperature, revealing fantastic hoppy qualities with a tremendous dryness, while slick yeast still shines through.
