Pours am orange-amber color, with an eggshell white head, soon collapsing.
Smells of an intriguing hop diversity, including a dank grass character, on which's top a fruity orange impression settles. As a result of both aromas, unripe citrus shines through in a slightly bitter, sour fashion.
Has a refreshing mouthfeel, due to a medium leveled carbonation, while the beers character is certainly not overly light.
Tastes of grassy, slightly citraic hops, among subtle, balancing earthy malts. I am surprised by the perfectly pronounced dankness of the beer, which is packed with bitter hops. Malts stay bready the whole time, while the hops leave some space on the palate for citrus peel, resulting in a long, bitter, very dry finish.
Uncompromising, clean, fresh, bitter, dank - incredible session ipa. Definitely not as easy to drink as I expected it to be, the malts play no role, but to balance the hop onslaught, providing a grassy, long lasting dry finish.
