Pours a clouded dark amber color with a solid, one finger broad head.
Smell is more subtle than expected, but once the nose gets very close to the liquid, there is a bright lemon peel flavor, paired with juicy orange pulp and a note of papaya. There is also a sweet maltiness detectable, which is well disguised, blending very well into the hop appearance, by adding a pleasant ripeneds to the fruits.
Has a soft, silk but dissapointingly thin mouthfeel with a lighter to medium bodied beer.
Tastes of sweet toffee malts, a long lasting dullness, which gets broken up with by slowly appearing kiwi, adding a disturbingly soapy prickliness to the flavors. Develops a short dryness after the swallow, which gets overburdened by sweet malts and a watery note.
This tastes pretty terrible, while at least the nose does contain a recognizable hop impact.

Pours a coppery, light brown coloration with a small, fluffy head that soon fades to nothing. Smells of biscuity malt, and some tropical/citrus hops, with just a hint of pine and a sort of odd soapy note. Taste follows the nose, with some sweet'ish biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and candied citrus/tropical fruit notes of tangerine, mango and pineapple, with just a hint of pine coming through as well. Finishes with a light bitterness and some candied fruit and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a pretty terrible NEIPA that totally lacks the vibrant, juicy hop notes and soft mouthfeel associated with the style, although it still makes for decent, if not great IPA. It's a bit too sweet initially, with the hop notes feeling oddly candied and somewhat soapy, but makes up for that with a good, piney bitterness in the aftertaste. If I were to score this as a NEIPA properly, the scores would probably be even lower, but it still makes for a passable IPA.
