Pours a dark amber, coppery coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells intensly of roasted coffee, with hints of tart red berries and caramel malt. Taste follows the nose, with quite a profound, rich roasted coffee flavor, supplemented nicely by caramel malt, slightly tart red berries, grassy, slightly piney hops and a light honey sweetness. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and more roasted coffee coming through in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This has an incredibly rich roasted coffee aroma and taste that carries light notes of cinnammon, vanilla and cardamom in itself, complemented nicely by caramel malt and grassy hops. One of the nicest coffee beers I've had.
