Pours a murky brown, vomit, coloration with a medium, foamy head and a bunch of floaters. Smells of caramel malt, light, undefineable citrus/tropical hops and a certain, soapy bath salts note. Taste follows the nose, the bath salts being even more pronounced, unfortunately, with some biscuity, caramel malts and somewhat resinous, citrus hops as well, that struggle to make an impression. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some bath salts lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Between the disgusting look and bath salt aroma and flavor profile, this remains only barely drinkable thanks to some resinous, citrus hops being in there somewhere as well, as muddled as they may be. Might be a bad batch, but this kind of thing happens far too often with Ale-Mania of late.
