Pours a clear, mahogany coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells quite intensely of biscuity, caramel malt, honey sweetness and floral, slightly resinous hops. Taste follows the nose, with some sweet, biscuity, caramel malt up front and quite s strong presence of floral, somewhat herbal and slightly resinous hops, as well as just a hint of red berries and honey. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some caramel malt and floral, herbal hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A really nice English IPA with a great balance of sweet malts and floral, herbal hops, as well as notes of red berries and honey making things a bit more interesting. Quite enjoyable.
