Pours a pitch-black coloration with a small, creamy head. Smells of roasted malt and coffee, with that roasted coffee aroma really being quite distinct and pleasant here. Taste is a great balance of roasted malt and coffee, with lighter chocolate and hints of licorice, cinnamon and citrus accents. Finishes with a light bitterness and some roasted malt and coffee lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

A great coffee stout with quite a bold and intense roasted malt and coffee presence that really stands out rather distinctly here, while being backed up by some chocolate and spice, as well as subtle citrus notes, which can probably be attributed to the Guji coffee beans as well, while this also features a nice body and mouthfeel. Overall this really makes for a very enjoyable example of the style due to the intense coffee presence and very nice dry, roasted and bitter character.
