On tap at the brewery into a nonic. Reviewed from notes dated May 22, 2016.
A-The beer is hazy and light, light yellow in color. A short, white head sticks around for a while and leaves fine lacing on the glass. The beer looks still in the light.
S-The aroma is mild, but it packs a little perfumed punch of lemongrass scented hops with faint bitterness. Malts provide a touch of honey and bread. Simple.
T-The beer gives a little bitter, lemony kick of noble hop notes right up front. The bitterness fades and a perfumed floral note takes over towards the finish. A touch of honey dries out on the back end and the beer leaves with biscuit and cracker flavors.
M-The beer is lightly carbonated, but feels a touch gritty on the finish. A bit off-putting.
O-A nice summer ale in an unexpected spot. Flavors are pleasant, but nothing here stands out and the feel is a touch off.
