I had this beer on tap from the first keg they rolled out in June in Chicago, and I was really impressed. I really like the balance of hop and sweetness. Sweetness is a signature feature of all Hofbräu Chicago beers, and it throws you off the first time you try it. But then after the second sip you realize that it‘s not overwhelming at all. I‘m not a big fan of the typical (Central German, TV brand) Pilsner. But man: did I like this one!
