Brewed right here at Hofbräuhaus Chicago. This is a little sweeeter compared to the original Weissbier from Munich. Nice notes if clove, banana, nutmeg, some apricot and I get a very light note of black pepper. Mild and soft yeats, very easy drinking.

 

 

Poured into a tall clear pint glass. Has an ominous hazy dark orange hue, with thick floaters in the composition. Very big foamy head.

I smell mainly bananas, oranges, and candied fruit, with a wheaty body. Notes of bubblegum and cloves too, a light malty sweetness. All is crisply pungent.

Taste is much like the smell, although somewhat light on the palette. Mainly banana and wheat, along with a nice hint of bubblegum. Feels richly smooth, like a hefeweizen should be.

 

Cloudy orange body with two fingers of white foam. Banana, orange zest, wheat, and bubblegum, all what you expect but doesn't pop. Taste pops more than the smell, banana and wheat especially, very clean for style. Feel is not as clean as the taste, but light enough that it doesn't impact, good wheat backbone.
