Is a lager beer which has been brewed lighter in body and with less alcohol, which is approx. 3.6 % ABV. but with a lovely hop flavor as it is typical for German beers.

Served in a maßkrug at Hofbräuhaus Rosemont.
Starting things off here right with a liter o' light bier (can't start off too big, now...). This stuff pours a clear golden-straw topped by about two fingers of white foam. The nose comprises mild barley, soft flowers, and a decent bit of mild grass. The taste brings in more of the same, with a strong backbone of honey-kissed biscuit. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a very nice, clearly well-made light helles from the people who know how to do it better than most. Good times.
