Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a light golden amber with a fine one finger white head with great retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of tangerine and light wheat; more grainy than a typical hefeweizen, light clove. Flavor is lemon and tangerine citrus, mild wheat. Flavor drops off into a citrus rind and light wheat finish with a little clove. Lingering tangerine peel citrus bitterness. Medium bodied with a hint of creaminess. The tangerine flavor is pleasant and realistic, but kind of overwhelms the wheat body. Although there was a light graininess to the aroma, the taste was mostly mild wheat. The clove leaves a slight astringency to the finish. A satisfactory hefeweizen, but the citrus does not let the wheat, which should shine in a hefeweizen, show through, making a fruity, but somewhat stark finish. OK.

Intensely flavored. Seriously fruity yet dry, with a huge yeasty taste. Cloudy light amber in the big chalice with a moderate foam. Plenty of frothy mouthfeel.
The aroma is quite intriguing. Lots of tangerine peel with that distinctive oily note. Flavor is sharp and tangy and highly perfumey tasting. Actually a pretty good citrus flavor, it just has a little too much bitter peel. Light body with with some malty substance. On the acidic side.
This might have benefited from more subtle use of the flavoring. I would swear it has coriander too, but the label doesn't say so. From the 22 oz bottle. Lots of sediment.
