Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt, citrus and grassy hops, light orange citrus and hints of tropical fruit. Flavor is biscuit malt, citrus and grassy hops, light orange and lemon citrus and rind; finishes grassy with lingering bitterness with little herbal hop flavor. Medium bodied with light creaminess. The hop profile has hints of tropical fruit, but no clear notes although the citrus component is rather juicy. Tastes somewhat like a British IPA due to the grassiness and biscuity malt. A pleasant, easy to drink IPA, but perhaps could be renamed as there is only light tropical and no thunder here. That being said, I enjoyed this as a nice change of pace in a malty biscuity IPA.

Taster at the brewery in Ballard
Appearance: light amber, medium head that disappears, lacing
Smell: hoppy
Taste: very good, bitter but light
Mouth feel: very good, fizzy, creamy, bitter aftertaste
Overall: very good beer, creamy, then bitter, no aftertaste, then bitterness, ok to repeat, but not something to look forward to.

I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a pint glass.
Appearance: rich orange hue with a pretty good haze and a thin layer of ivory foam. I really like it.
Smell: very nice tropical fruit aroma. Hops are fresh and enticing.
Taste: tropical fruit with a nice mango character. This is apparently made with azacca hops; whatever they are, they're juicy and delicious!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and nice smooth feel. I dig it.
Overall: delicious and drinkable. I could quaff a damn lot of this.
