A nice little place in the Ballard/Fremont brewery district. Modest exterior with a slightly distressed hipster chic interior. Plenty of interior and exterior seating, the best part in my opinion is the 80s video games and pinball machines and Monday trivia nights.
9 taps with a nice assortment of higher caliber brews... a lot of their regular offerings and rotating seasonals and a guest tap usually. Prices are reasonable and on par with other breweries in the area. Service is pretty friendly and knowledgeable on their offerings, no kitchen but they get some really good food trucks rotating through, all reasonably priced. They have coolers with canned beers on site so you can take a few with you on your way.
A nice place to knock back a few and grab some grub, as I said previously it's in Ballard's brewery/pub crawl district so it's worth stopping by if you're down there.

We visited 4 breweries in Ballard. This was our least favorite. Cramped front bar area that reeked of something awful. The beers were not good either. All below average compared to the others in the area.

Nice chill vibe. Had a nice range of beers. IPA was solid and the barrel blend was tasty. Nice little place to grab a few and enjoy relaxing.

Populuxe is a great little neighborhood brewery. I've been there a couple of times now and really enjoy it. The inside is furnished kind of like a school basement, but there is a great seating area outdoor which is awesome when the weather's nice.
The beers here are quite decent, with 9 taps plus a guest cider. The bartender was pretty knowledgeable about the beers; though he wasn't the brewer, he could answer questions about hop varieties used and things of that nature.
I like Populuxe and will be visiting again; it's worth a stop if you're on a brewery tour of the neighborhood.
