Served from 12oz bottle
A — Pours a clean and clear orangey hue. There is essentially no head on it and thus, no lacing.
S — Smells pretty mild, light notes of smokiness and a little bit of orange sweetness.
T — Tastes like liquid smoke and rotten oranges, absolutely off-putting and artificial.
M — Medium body, longer lasting finish than I would care for.
O — Just bad, artificially smokey and not good.

Served in nonic. Served from cask pump, as cask ales are all Machine House brews. Poured a lightly hazy orange-amber color with 3/4 inch of just off-white head that had large, coarse bubbles, decent retention, and very low lacing.
A solid blast of smoke hits the nose first, with the grainy malt being behind it. Just the faintest tinge of orange is in the background. The flavor is very similar, just amplified. Lots of smoke dominates, grain is underneath, and just a bit of fruit.
The body is nice, smooth and even, with the smoke lingering after the finish. Drinkability will depend on how each drinker likes smoke, I like it well enough, but I wouldn't drink two of these in a row. Overall, a nice, interesting beer. Worth a shot if you see it.
