I had this beer on cask in a mug at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.
Appearance: medium dusky orange hue with a dash of haze. Head is a finger of frothy ivory foam with great retention.
Smell: sweet, somewhat toasty and spicy with a mild citrus hop element. Nice, but a bit mellow.
Taste: citrusy hops and a toasty malt base. It's fruity with an almost fatty flavor; bitterness builds quite nicely over time. Interesting and quite tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium body with minimal carbonation but this smooth, almost oily texture.
Overall: a tasty beer indeed. Definitely a good cask beer.
