I had this beer on cask in an imperial pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: rich golden hue with just the tiniest hint of haze. Head is a finger of frothy white foam that leaves a wispy lace. I like it.
Smell: sweet and floral with a lovely hop character. Very nice indeed.
Taste: sweet with a dash of toastiness and a floral, herbal hop character. Bitterness is balanced and comes out strongest at the end. A good beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a nice smoothness. Being cask, carbonation and creaminess are quite low.
Overall: this is a very sessionable beer. Balanced and only 4.8%, I could drink an awful lot of this.
