Clear golden amber brew with plenty of foam in the New Belgium snifter. There's a leafy, herbal aroma. Frothy light body with moderate spritz on the tongue. There is just a whisper of malt and faint grainy note. It begins to be quite bitter after a few sips.
Finishes with a muddy and metallic note. Aftertaste is slightly astringent with the growing bitternes. Maybe in an English country pub from the hand pump this might strike the right note, with a wisp of foam on the warmish and flattish brew. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Central Market.
