Poured from 500mL bottle into a dimpled mug. The label calls this a "hoppy and guzzlable session pale ale". Sounds great!
Appearance: medium orange hue with a rather murky body and a half-finger of frothy ivory foam atop. I think it looks good!
Smell: bright, enticing citra hop aroma along with a sweet, soft malt base. They play together really well.
Taste: like in the aroma, the flavor is very soft and round; the hops are juicy, but also a bit herbal and, frankly, a little bit one-note. Overall this is nice, but a little complexity would help a lot.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a very nice creaminess. These beers are bottle-conditioned, so they can be a bit hit and miss. But this bottle was great!
Overall: this is a delightfully drinkable beer that I could see myself drinking rather a lot of.
