Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and grassy hops, orange and berries. Flavor is pale malt with light biscuit, citrus and grassy hops, dry grass, grapefruit, lemon a wisps of stone fruit. Grapefruit rind finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. I don't get session ales much any more, but wanted to try the Comet hops in a base beer I was familiar with and Machine House's pale ale is a nice one with light biscuit to display the hops. Not too complex, with lots of citrus rind and just hints of berries and other fruit and a big grapefruit finish. An interesting hop with solid alpha bitterness, but mild enough in herbal flavors that it is clearly mostly used with other varieties. Hopped like an American pale, but with an English character to the malt. Pleasant and easily drinkable, quite flavorful for the modest ABV.

16.9oz (no date) bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy light brown color with just a thin cap of white head that had moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma had bright citrusy hops, a light frootiness, and light malts. Pretty similar on the tongue, with some floral/grass aspects as well.
The body was medium-light, had good carb, and a nicely dry finish. As the name implies, this beer is very drinkable, quaffable, and guzzle-able. Overall, a light, tasty brew. Satisfies that itch for a quick, easy pint quite nicely.
