Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium to dark coppery orange with a one finger light khaki head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt, rye, bread crust. Flavor is biscuit malt with a hint of caramel, grassy hops, bread crust, light mixed fruit and a touch of rye tartness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A nice malty bitter with both traditional and some lightly fruity hops. Remarkable color and flavor depth for a low ABV brew. Pleasant combination of traditional bitter and more modern hops and a fine last brew for their great old digs in Georgetown.
