Canned 2/3/17; drank 2/19/17 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy red/orange rust appearance.
A violent pour yielded a small, noisy white head; frothy tree-rung lace.
Apple vinegar, cane sugar & mild tart peach notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Apple vinegar & fruit punch flavors up front; mildly tart peach notes on the finish.
Interesting, for sure, but I'm not sure it's good. I'd have another, but only in a pinch...

The pour is a nearly clear brownish orange (or orangish brown) body with a sudsy tan head. Lovely beer. The nose has equal amounts of fruity hop aromas and earthy caramalt aromas. Oh yeah.
The taste is an absolutely perfect balance between the fruity hop flavors and the beefy, earthy caramalt flavors. If I close my eyes, I can picture myself as a patron of George Hodgson’s Bow Brewery, enjoying a pint of this fine ale.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 oz can on February 25, 2017. Look is clear light amber with a thin head and little lacing. Smell and taste is celery and caramel malt. Feel is light in body.

I usually give detailed reviews. This is second 18th st beer and both times horribly disappointed.
Yea this tastes like bud light mixed with an ash tray.

Appearance: Poured from can a cloudy golden amber, with very little off-white lace on my pint glass.
Aroma: Very subtle. A bit hoppy with citrus notes, but nothing notable.
Taste: Herbal! Hops seem subdued, but I’m unsure of the age on this can. Easy-drinking and not over-hopped, as is the norm for an classic English-style IPA. Malty finish here, square on in style. Solid.

Light fizzy head, touch lacing, murky dark orange color.
Nose some toasty malt characters, little reddish candy malt, bit yeasty, little grassy herbal, little fruity thing, some mild citrus rind.
Taste starts with slight spicy herbal hops. Some citrus and generic fruity hops, chewy like hops as well, into a mild reddish malty, little biscuit toasty malt, mild mineral. Finish is spicy herbal hop, chewy hop, toasty caramel like malt too, pretty bitter.
Mouth is med bod, little soft thing, decent carb.
Overall ok, better than I thought but not great.
