Appearance – The beer was yellow with a faint pinkness.
Smell – The sour is balance with a pleasant oakiness from the wine barrels.
Taste – The oakiness comes through in the front with tart cherries in the back. One would never guess a 10% ABV on this one. The dry after is the perfect finish to the profile.
Mouthfeel – The carbonation runs a little high for a barrel aged kriek. There is a real sense of dryness a the end.
Overall – This is wonderful.
