Canned 12/2/16; drank 12/25/16 @ JJ's.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge bright white head; frothy lace.
Orange, mild honey & faint grapefruit notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mild honey & melon flavors up front; mild grapefruit bite on the finish. No booze heat.
Surprisingly mild & drinkable; not bold but enjoyable all the same.

Poured from the can into an 18th Street tulip, because why not?
A: Dark, copper-like, clear with a medium-sized white head that left a consistent lacing on the glass. Looks spot on to what I'd be expecting from a west coast IPA.
S: Sweeter than I expected, given how I thought it would smell based on the appearance. A little grapefruit with honey comes through on the nose.
T: Definitely different, in a good way, than what I was expecting. Sweet with the citrus coming through just enough, with a nice, minimal bite on the end. It's very similar to Hopslam with the honey flavor coming though and not punishing your palate with a huge hop presence.
F: Light body, and very easily drinkable. Not overly filling - and coming in at 8% you can definitely have a few if you enjoy it!
O: Always a fan of 18th Street hops, but this one was different - and that's not a bad thing! I'm glad I found this, and I'll definitely be trying to get my hands on some more. It's a great mix-up from the palate-punishing west coast IPA hop bombs, and the milkshake style IPA's coming from NE.
