Bottled January 2016; drank 1/31/17 @ the Yarchives. Opaque dark purple appearance; champagne bubbles throughout. A rough pour yielded a small khaki head; minimal lace. Prune juice, leather & faint dill pickle notes in the nose. Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Caramel, plum & faint tart strawberry flavors up front; dill pickle dryness on the finish. Interesting & assertive, but not really that good.

Appearance- The beer was a murky brown color with off white bubbles at the top. There were also strange crystal floaties at the top.
Smell - There was not much special about the nose. It seems to have the nose of a brown ale.
Taste - At the front, molasses and brown sugar come to my attention. Prunes, caramel, cola, and a hint of alcohol burn follows. The taste is sweeter toward the front and seems to become sweeter as the beer warms. The warm feeling is nice and cold night.
Mouthfeel- The beer really sticks nicely to the inside of the mouth. There is some viscosity here.
Overall- I am guessing that 18th Street has some of this sitting in barrels for a later date. If my suspicion is true, a great beer will be elevated to excellence.
