Canned late January 2017; drank 2/11/17 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy dull orange rust appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big, noisy white head; strong lace.

Melon, mango & mild apple notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Honeydew melon & spring water flavors up front; apple cider & dry mango notes on the finish. No booze heat.

An interesting, enjoyable DIPA; I'd have another...

Chill haze amber with a small white foam that settles to a thin blanket and some mini mountains of lace.

Smells like a tropical cocktail with a little bubblegum, lavender and cream, and a sticky, kind of dank honey.

Taste is orange-peach-pineapple juice with a little pine, herbal lavender honey and a hint of musky cologne with a touch of bread.

Medium to full bodied, crisp yet fizzy, semi-dry.

12 oz pour into shaker pint

A: hazy slightly murky amber orange body with very little head.

T: honey berries cantaloupe melon grapes slightly perfumey

M: medium bodied lowish carbonation makes the beer feel bigger than it is.

O: This beer has honey added to it and it really pops. lots of nice juicy fruit flavors with layers of sweet. honeyed fruit.

On tap at Tomato Bar in Valparaiso and served in a 18th Street pint style glass.

Look- A hazy amber/gold with a couple centimeters of off white foam. Some moderate lacing is left behind.

Smell- Very floral with some citrus and a hint of malt.

Taste- Passionfruit, mango, orange zest and some floral notes in the finish. A smack of malt sweetness appears last.

Feel- Quite thin and watery with a slightly acidic quality.

Overall- A decent enough beer that looks like it's attempting to be a NE style IPA but falls short of the goal line. I'm glad to have tried on draft instead of committing to the rather expensive six pack price of around $17 here.

don't understand the half-can label, but pours nicely and smells great. Taste was pretty underwhelming, flat finish. 18th can do better.

Undated can, poured at about 45 degrees. Neither dank nor a juice bomb, but tasty and easy to drink. Honey mellows the hop bitters, but is not overdone. Nice change of pace IPA. At 8%, at the low end of DIPA ABVs, which will attract as many as it turns off.
