What I love about this brewery is their rotating menu and ability to explore a variety of styles and always having fantastic payoffs.

A twelve ounce can from the In The Shadows small batch series with no date. It was purchased on 03/29/17 at the brewery release and poured in a 18th Street snifter.
Look- Pours a cloudy pale yellow/straw color leaving a finger of creamy off white foam. It has a slight brown hue to it and there's a tiny bit of lacing left behind as it quickly settles.
Smell- Passion fruit, guava, mango, pineapple, orange zest and a hint of fresh rubber. It smells like a tropical fruit salad!
Taste- Succulent passion fruit, mango, guava, orange zest, grapefruit and some floral in the finish.
Feel- Thin with a slight tingle to the tongue followed by a slightly bitter and dry finish.
Overall- I was a big fan of 18th when they opened, but strayed away after the move to Hammond killed the vibe at the Miller location. The repetition of beers and the price point didn't help either. With that said curiosity about them throwing their hat in the haze craze ring warranted a visit. I'm glad I did! This is a very juicy and worthy representation of the style. The smell and taste is tropical fruit heaven. I wish the feel was a bit creamier, but that's a minor personal preference. I'm glad they canned this beer and I'd gladly pay a few more bucks for a four pack of pints because it's so easy drinking.
