Surprisingly a great double IPA a little multi but even warmed up a little bit it goes down smooth. Tropical fruits all around mostly sweet not bitter hops.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that left some lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit salad presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/13/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, apricot, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, white grape, berries, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, apricot, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, white grape, berries, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, apricot, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, white grape, berries, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an amazing NE DIPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Insanely juicy and a bit dank on hops; balanced malts, without being overly sweet/heavy feeling for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Never overly drying, with just the right amount of bitterness.

Poured out of a 16 oz. can from the brewery. Brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic.

Pours a very hazy golden orange color with a finger of fluffy white head.

Aroma pops of juicy white grape and grapefruit juice. Also pick up on blueberry jam, juicy pineapple, mango, cannabis, and pine. Get a bubblegum yeast ester that I usually get in their yeast. Quite a big candied sweetness.

Taste is big on the white grape and blueberry qualities. Tastes like Welch's white grape juice and blueberry jam, along with candied grapefruit, pineapple juice, cannabis dankness, and some slight mango and pine. The bubblegum yeast ester carries over from the aroma. Big candied sweetness.

Medium body. Soft, creamy, and smooth carbonation.

This is a big winner. 18th continues to improve on their NE style beers. The Nelson and Mosaic are an excellent combo and produce some interesting juicy flavors.
