Fruity awesomeness it has body and no alcohol flavors for being a hefty pour. Warning Too smooth. Scary smooth. Consume at your own risk. Yum bomb

3rd review, my 1st from brewer. this is better than BA rates.
a) Aprocot, afro hazed body with big lacing and lasting head.
s) Ample, clean, melon, peach!, tropical, grass (fruit salad).
t) Follows smell, and resolves into minor bittering notes. Malty core.
f) not thin, well balanced and finished, nice tongue feel and weight.
o) On the apricot, peach, melon fruit side and should be blind tasted against any 6-7% IPA.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 2/15/2018. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very minimal pine, herbal, grassy, zesty bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and slightly sticky/resinous mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.2%. Overall this is an outstanding pale ale! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Not sure why they labeled this as an imperial pale ale. This drinks like an NEIPA all around. Extremely juicy/lightly dank hop complexity, with balance bready malts. Not overly sweet/heavy feeling. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a howler on March 23, 2018. Double Dry Hopped Double Pale Ale brewed with Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Big tropical citrus taste and smell with very little bite. A little light in body.
