Appearance - The beer poured a deep black color with a dark mocha head crowning the glass.
Smell - There was so much banana in the nose. It smelled of real bananas, not anything artificial.
Taste - The initial impression was dark chocolate and banana Laffy Taffy. There was something unnatural about the taste that I did not enjoy. The overall profile was complimented by a full body.
Mouthfeel - Even with a very full body, the beer had strangely high carbonation.
Overall - I would have trouble with this as a go-to stout, but this was enjoyable. It would be particularly enjoyable if you love bananas.
