16 ounce can, canned on 07/27/2022, pretty sure Brutaltruth gave me a can of this. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so frothy tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like coffee, dark chocolate, caramel and roasted malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some earthy and nutty flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy enough to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, it's a good overall porter. Wouldn't mind trying this one again in the future!

Canned 7/27/22; drank 9/18/22 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy tan head; decent lace.
Medium roast coffee bean, chocolate & mild fresh earth notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Cream & fresh earth flavors up front; dark chocolate & mild medium roast coffee bean notes on the finish.
A well made porter; I'd have another!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This robust brew pours a dark blackish brown
with a quickly fizzling head of brown foam that settles to a thin ring. Nose of
dark chocolate, coffee, char, roasted malts, nutty malts, and caramel. Flavors
lightly surpass the nose with a nice presentation of dark chocolate, coffee, subtle
toffee, roasted nutty malts, light char, and faint cream amongst caramel. Mouth feel
is medium, medium body, low carbonation akin to the English style of the brew, and
a roasted lightly dry finish.
Overall----very nice and session-able.
Cheers
