16 ounce can, canned 01/12/2023, thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a chalice, the beer pours a dark gold/brownish color with about an inch or so off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both OK. The brew smells like vanilla, cacao, earthiness and caramel. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some vegetal/yam, brown sugar and root beer/cola like flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one, it's good for a blonde stout but would still have a regular stout instead. Still worth a try, especially if you like ube/yams because this is a pretty unique brew!

This is unfortunately one of the worst things I've had in a minute, can pours a really really dirty dishwater color with a white head. It doesn't look appealing. Nothing much on the nose or taste at all, it's a little sweet but not many cacao notes. Idk. This wasn't for me

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This unique "stout" with Ube (yams), vanilla,
and cocoa Nibs pours a dark burnt auburn with a modest head of khaki foam
that settles to a thin ring. Nose of faint caramel sugars, faint vanilla, brown sugars,
cola notes. Flavors are a surprise with vanilla, cocoa nibs, cola notes, dark malt
hints, and candy sugar notes. Mouth feel is medium full teetering towards full.
Faint carbonation, smooth, and finishing sweet.
Overall----it is unique, a unique ingredient with the yam, but the flavor is like a
vanilla coke without the carbonation and a bit of depth. Nice to have tried it
but would pass on it in the future.
