Appearance - From the can, the beer poured a brownish- red color with a 1 inch head topping the glass.
Smell - The nose was multi with an obvious level of dryness.
Taste - The profile was malt forward with perhaps even a light sense of chocolate. The promised salt was present, which added a delightful dimension to the base red ale. The finish was slightly dry, making me want to take another refreshing sip.
Mouthfeel - The malts made for a smooth body with mild carbonation.
Overall - What a delightful change of pace from 18th Street!
