i think the most interesting thing about all these beers is that they are gluten reduced. brewed normally, but with an enzyme added that starts the digestion process. i dont know very much about it, but i think its impressive that they can make beers that dont seem low gluten at all. thats true nowhere more than in this pale ale, which is unfortunately just an okay recipe, but suffices perfectly well as an american pale ale from a decent craft brewery. the fact that there is a relative absence of gluten is not readily obvious, and i think thats pretty cool, especially for those who cant or chose not to have gluten, it gives them a really awesome option. the beer has a nice english type hop profile, but seems to me to have a few too many voices in the malt bill, and it does finish just a little sweet for the style, but if i leave my critical lens at the door and just drink it as a pale ale, its quite enjoyable. nicely carbonated and not too full bodied. i love the idea of these gluten reduced beers, and i think this is a great place to start when you visit.
