This was an interesting take on a rye stout, adding the sweetness of vanilla to cut the spiciness of the rye. I thought it worked pretty well and was glad I got this in addition to the regular rye stout (Oats McGoats) so I could compare. Nice subtle vanilla flavor set it apart from the usual base, and this was a good experiment.
