had no idea this place existed, and that it was a brewery, so super cool! apparently been around over a year though, so I should have known. tried to go into the new bohemian biergarten next door, but it isn't open yet and stumbled into shine not knowing it was a beer place. was pleasantly surprised to see maybe 6 beers on tap, all home made in house. the imperial red was lovely, as was the ipa, and they had a whole range of herbal medicinal tinctures and stuff you can get into if that's your hustle. the barkeep was nice, generous with samples, and friendly, but she didn't know anything about the beer program. they don't really advertise as a brewery apparently because they want their food to be the focus, which is fine and well, but I would have been in months ago had I known. menu is impressive, everything looks sensational. cool vibe there too with some outside seating and a big stage area for live music in the back. a fun place that I might have totally missed if the biergarten was open. well worth stopping in, they specialize in high alcohol beers with almost all of them approaching 10% abv. good stuff, very boulder.
edit: the food here is delicious. had a grain free pasta dish with colorado lamb, arugula pesto, wild mushrooms, and a myriad of vegetables and fine funky goat cheese. they do a really nice job here and prices are fair. beer built to work with the food and is quite successful in that context. great vibe in here. i suppose if beer is all you care about this is less awesome, but i dig it a whole lot.
