First: Brewer's notes (from website): an american pale ale made with our own Chinook hops grown on site. this pale ale is lower on bitterness but has a pronounced fruitiness (pineapple, orange, papaya) from our hops. 5.8 % abv.
This is an offering from a small batch micro-craft brewery in Ava Illinois. The brewery is far off the beaten path in rural Southern Illinois. They specialize in creative, sometimes offbeat brews.
This particular wet-hopped American Pale is among the best craft beers I've had in some time. It is subtly-hopped, smooth and balanced with great mouth feel and slight citrus finish.
