Pours cloudy, brown/maize color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Poor retention and poor lacing. Smells of caramel malt, slight sweet malt, and strong bacterial funk. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with a low carbonation level. Fits the style of an American Wild Ale. Tastes of slight blackberry, caramel malt, sweet malt, strong tartness, hint of chocolate, and a hint of yeast. Overall, weak appearance, but good aroma, body, feel, and blend.

Translucent orange in color. Descent head with some lacing. Aroma of light vinegar, slightly tart berry with mild floral notes. Moderate acidity and well balanced, slightly sweet black berry flavor. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Dryness is subtle. Very impressed.
