Biere de garde brewed with birch sap entirely in place of water, bittered with birch branches, and lagered for six months. Crisp, clean amber beer with a sweet caramel and floral aroma and a light tannic bitterness from the tree branches.

Thanks to Otis for sharing! Quick review from written notes.
Dark reddish Amber, frothy lasting foam that leaves spotty lace behind.
Aroma is earthy and malty, something slightly antiseptic that is from the wood I'd guess.
Definitely taste a unique woodiness, it's a little herbal and again antiseptic.
Hard to pin down exactly, Brett maybe. I associate it with the smell of sterile bandages.
Medium bodied with a malty core and unique foraged ingredients. An interesting beer that's worth a try.
