Draft at Beer Temple, served in a teku glass.
Mahogany brown, almost black, with an ample head of tan foam and rings of drippy lacing.
Aroma was herbal and minerally with some yeasty elements.
Taste is crisp and tart with a light roasty maltiness, herbal peppery fennel note, and a dry finish.
Light bodied and effervescent. Overall it's pretty good, thankfully there's not an overt licorice flavor.
